22 Year old architectural sign company seeking a production artist to oversee manufacturing and production of various signage. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task multple projects simulaneously and operate a laser engraver, roland plotter and rotary engraver. Carpentry experience a plus since you will occassionally need to use a table saw, drill press, belt sanders and other basic tools and equipment. Fabrication of sign types and materials include acrylics, aluminum, stainless steel and brass. Vinyl cutting, weeding and application experience a plus.
Please note that this is NOT a creative design or print production position. The following requirements are highly desirable:
- Must have expert technical layout skills with CorelDraw or Illustrator
- Engineering, construciton, architectural background a plus
- Drafting, manufacturing and assembly experience a plus
- Flexi-Sign and Xenetech experience a plus
- Must be able to read and create simple enginnering diagrams, schematics, floorplans and drawings
